Join us Saturday March 22nd for a seed starting workshop at Luella's Studio located at 5060 Wrightsville Avenue

Gather with friends and get your hands dirty during this interactive workshop where you'll learn how to cultivate a cut flower garden, from seed to harvest.

​

This hope-filled hobby saves tons of money and unlocks access to specialty flower varieties you won’t find in garden centers or grocery stores.

 

Free therapy sessions included - kidding, but not really.

 

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to give seeds what they need to thrive

  • When and how to direct sow seeds outdoors

  • When and how to start seeds indoors using seed trays and soil blocking

  • When and how to graduate seedlings into the garden

  • What key mistakes to avoid

  • Which flowers to plant in 8b, and when

  • How to care for your cutting garden

  • How to harvest and process flowers

 

What's Included:

  • 6-cell seed tray

  • Seed starting medium

  • 12 cut flowers seeds suited for zone 8b

  • A seed starting soil recipe 

  • Seed sources and recommended seeds to grow by season
